Steven graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an honours degree in physics, after which he gained a Private Pilots Licence. Steven started in TV as a runner in documenties and has risen through the ranks. He then went on to work for the BBC working on Life of Riley and River City after which his moved to the position of researcher for the ONE Show. Steven then moved into film and joined Sigma, he worked on numerous features including Starred Up, Perfect Sense, You Instead and Citadel and more besides. Steven went back into the freelance market as a co-ordinator on Jonathan Glazer’s Under the Skin before co-ordinating productions such as River City and Shetland. Steven recently worked on Waterloo Road as Line Producer on the final series. He trained on the prestigious BECTU Stepping Up training programme and attended courses at the National Film & TV school in London. Steven has over 500 hours of screened material experience (TV and Film).
